What happens when you find yourself divorced but have to – or want to – keep the Ex involved with your kid’s lives and, of course, the financial expenditures that come along with raising kids in split households?

Today we speak with Justin and Jessica, a couple brought together by love for each other and the kids from her first marriage, to learn how we can set things up with our Ex to make communication and the relationship work.

And, of course, share the expenses of raising kids in a fair and mutually beneficial manner.

Justin and his wife, Jessica, share a Google spreadsheet with her ex-husband and his new wife. They record every purchase made for Jessica’s two children from her previous marriage so there is no confusion and the households are able to split the costs 50/50.
